盾构机是一种使用盾构法的隧道掘进机。

盾构法是暗挖法施工中的一种全机械化施工方法。它是将盾构机械在地中推进，通过盾构外壳和管片支承四周围岩防止发生往隧道内的坍塌。同时在开挖面前方用切削装置进行土体开挖，通过出土机械运出洞外，靠千斤顶在后部加压顶进，并拼装预制混凝土管片，形成隧道结构的一种机械化施工方法。

盾构法是隧道及地下工程施工的方法之一，除此之外还有明挖法、地下连续墙法、矿山法、沉管法、顶管法、沉井法等。

4 感想体会

Shield本义是盾牌的意思，衍生为保护物、屏障的意思。盾构是盾牌和构造的简称，但是简称之后容易让人不知所云，感觉没有特别合适的词语与Shield对应。科技词语还是看原汁原味的好，一翻译就容易丢掉很多信息，明明通俗易懂的英文单词，翻译成中文之后就变得晦涩难懂。
